Why Do I Need Aerosol Storage by Wholesale Safety Storage Australia

Why Do I Need Aerosol Storage?

Aerosol storage is a must-have for businesses and facilities worldwide and in Australia. Compressed and potentially combustible products, chemicals or items must be stored safely to reduce the risk, damage or hazard. When you get practical solutions for your setting, you can keep these items out of reach and away from potential danger. Professionally checked and designed, these products can protect cans from external risk and reduce potential damage if anything combusts inside.

Read on to learn more about why you need to invest in aerosol storage cages.

Ventilation

Our aerosol storage cages have been designed to store compressed aerosol cans, one element of which is the ventilation that removes any leaks or fumes. Products may have a range of styles, but wire mesh along sides ensure easy airflow. This is important because if trapped inside a solid wall container, any leaks become a major risk to the safety of everyone nearby. It won’t take much to cause a massive fire hazard or risk of poisoning employees nearby. Therefore, you need to have the ability to disperse fumes before it causes a real and present danger to your employees.

Durable Material

Our aerosol storage cages  are made from strong zinc anneal steel that can withstand knocks and scrapes without causing damage to the contents inside. The cage construction also protects anyone nearby in the case of an emergency or explosion as it stops shrapnel or large items from escaping the area. When stored in an open cupboard or storage room, anyone nearby is at risk of taking damage in a worst-case scenario. In the same way, the wire mesh ventilation design also helps deter pieces of metal that may try to escape, keeping them within the cage space or, at the very least, stopping them from going out at any dangerous speed.

Safety Measures

Meeting safety standards is very important for every business to be compliant. To protect yourself, your business and your staff, you need to have the right containers to store products in line with legal requirements. When you abide by these legal guidelines, you can ensure a safe and secure working environment for all involved.

When you have the correct aerosol storage products in place, you can create a productive, safe environment for your workers and protect the integrity of your business. Our professionals can ensure you get the right products to suit your setting and needs. Contact us today to find out more.

Tailgate Delivery Terms and Conditions

Any additional handling or manoeuvring to get the items in to position that requires specialised equipment, such as a tailgated truck or a truck mounted forklift, is not covered by any free freight offers.

For those who are new to freight, a tailgate truck (also known as a tail-lift truck or hydraulic truck) has a rear platform which can be lowered to the ground for convenience when unloading heavy goods.  This is a requirement for unloading freight over 30kg when a forklift is not available on site to unload the delivery vehicle.  Carriers class this as a specialised delivery service, and charge a premium for tailgate deliveries.

Tailgate delivery is to the front door, carport, or closest practical delivery point as deemed by the driver. There must be reasonable vehicle access with height clearance.

Tailgate shipping adds an extra $135 + gst to shipping fees during checkout to cover costs.

NOTE: Selecting the WRONG answer in regards to tailgate shipping means the carrier may be unable to unload your items and may need to re-deliver it.  The Customer will be liable for any further charges for re-delivery should this occur.  Should you have questions or if you are unsure please contact us first.
