Powder Coated Steel IBC Containment Bunds
Our single and double IBC heavy duty powder-coated galvanised steel are suitable for use with Class 3 Flammable Liquids or other compatible chemicals that may spill, which it can capture to contain the leaks and drips.
WSSA powder-coated blue galvanised steel IBC spill pallets features a 40 mm drain plug in the sump that makes it easy to decant any spilt liquid that collects on the sump. Our range features a large deck which allows for convenient and safe positioning of the IBC, which makes access to the outlet tap still falls within the sump boundaries.
Our steel IBC spill containment bund can be easily accessed by forklifts from underneath, making it easy to organise your IBC storage, and segregate liquids for easy identification. Its construction also makes handling bulk containers safer and much easier.
The sump capacities of our range of our steel bunds can handle from 1,106 up to 1,165 litres (depending on sump size) of collected drips, leaks, and spills.
Our single IBC Coated Steel Containment Bund can handle a maximum UDL of 2,000 kg, while our double IBC Coated Steel Containment Bund can handle a maximum UDL of 3,600 kg.
Similar to our Polyethylene Containment bunds, optional bund discharge filters are also available, allowing oil or fuel to be captured when draining rainwater from the bund. The filter is packed with super absorbent hydrophobic (water-resistant) polypropylene for 30 litres of absorbency. The filter is fitted with an internal flow distributor and quick release camlock adaptor.
Polyethylene and Galvanised Steel IBC Spill containment pallets have multiple benefits, such as:
- Protecting your personnel safe from accidental slips.
- Reducing clean-up costs by providing easily retrievable spills.
- Helping in the organisation of your IBC storage.
- Segregating liquids for easy identification.
- Making handling bulk containers safer and easier.
Both Polyethylene and Galvanised Steel IBC Spill containment bunds also comes with optional bund covers to prevent rainwater from collecting on the bund sump.
Note that portable bunding units are designed for secondary and temporary storage. Be sure to check with your local council or regulatory body if you are unsure of your storage compliance obligations.
