Polyethylene drum bund with removable grate – two drum
Use this drum bund to store up to two 205L drums on this and capture leaks, drips and spills of non-flammable liquids. These containment bunds are also known as spill pallets and have been designed by Australians in Australia for our unique and harsh conditions.
- This drum bund includes a removable grated floor to provide easy access to the bund sump for cleaning.
- Easily decant spilled liquids via the three drain plug in the sump.
- Manufactured and tested in Australia with a 1100kg UDL.
- The chemical-resistant polyethylene bund and polypropylene grate stand up to the harshest environments.
- The DB2G drum bund includes forklift tyne pockets for easy transportation.
- Spill pallets feature encapsulated data plates with vital information such as sump capacity, maximum UDL, composition materials and net weight.
Reasons to use a drum bund:
- Prevent spilled liquids from contaminating factory floors, inventory or stormwater drains.
- Containment bunds reduce clean-up costs by capturing easily retrievable spills.
Drum bund covers are optional and used to prevent ingress of dirt and rainwater into the bund.
Please note: portable bunding units are designed for secondary and temporary storage. If you are unsure on your storage compliance obligations, check with your local council or regulatory body.
Drum bunds are also known as bunded pallets, spill pallets, spill decks, hazmat bunds, chemical storage bunds, portable bunding systems, secondary bunding and sump pallets.

2. Deliveries that DO NOT qualify for free metro shipping
Free metro delivery applies to general freight services in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. Premium delivery services for which couriers charge additional fees include:
- Tailgate deliveries: Extra charges apply if a tailgate truck, or other specialised equipment is required to unload goods. Extra charges are passed on to WSSA by the carrier.
- Deliveries to residential addresses
- Urgent or same day deliveries: Carriers charge a premium for same day delivery services.
- Specific time slot deliveries are not offered by all courier services and come with additional fees. While we can estimate a date of delivery based on the couriers tracking, the time of day will not be known to us once on board with the carrier.
3. What shipping options will be available?
Big Post has a large network of freight companies to choose from, including:
- TNT
- Toll
- Capital Transport
- Northline
- Followmont
- Hi-Trans
Customers can also use their own freight connections if they wish. This option is able to be selected during checkout. One of our team will make contact to confirm the details.
4. Can I request a specific time or date of delivery?
If a specific time or date is required for delivery of goods, we recommend the customer to make their own arrangements with a specialised carrier service.
Wholesale Safety Storage Australia will pass on our customers requests to the freight carriers. We will do our best and liaise with our account managers at the relevant carriers.
However, to keep the freight costs to a minimum for our customers, we use general carriers by default. ETA’s are an estimated time of arrival only. Carriers do everything in their power to get freight from A to B within the estimated time frames, however delays can happen due to multiple factors. Carriers can provide an estimated date of delivery at the time of booking, that is not a guarantee from the carrier and no time can be specified.
We require our customers to inform us of delivery instructions prior to the sale. This will allow us to select the carrier that can best meet our customers needs, and provide accurate pricing options available.
Any additional costs for specialised freight services, or premium delivery services will be passed on to the customer if not informed prior to the sale. The amount we charge for freight is to recover costs – not for profit. We will always provide a copy of the freight quote to a customer on request.
