Why You Need Small Flammable Storage Cabinets by Wholesale Safety Storage Australia

Flammable storage cabinets are an essential safety element needed in every business, school or property with these chemicals around. These products are vital to prevent accidents and injury and delay any reaction in case of fire or extreme circumstances.  When you have the right housing, you can properly store these materials and ensure any leaks or spills are contained. Read on to see the benefits of using these products.

Key To Preventing Accidents

Why You Need Small Flammable Storage Cabinets by Wholesale Safety Storage Australia

The design of these containers makes them ideal for organising correctly and reducing accidents that may otherwise occur. There are minimal chances of accidental spills, with a safe and secure space to keep them away, and the right design will even reduce damage in case of an explosion. There’s no limit to safety problems caused by improperly stored chemicals. Having the right housing protects you and everyone who uses the space, allowing you to put everything away when not in use safely.

Are Required By Law

These products, or similar alternatives, are required by law when certain types of chemicals are on the property. Many products are perfectly suited to specific needs, ranging in codes and requirements, and designed to have catchment areas, ventilation or grid designs. Always meet legal requirements to protect yourself from harm and potential lawsuits through accidents when you have the right containment options.

Help Prevent Explosions

Fire and explosion are always risks when dealing with highly flammable materials. However, when placed in air-tight containers, any sudden ignition in bulk storage areas could be catastrophic as the design has not allowed potential fumes to escape. When you have the right containers for the chemicals in place, you can ensure that there is less chance of fire reaching the chemicals, but it also ensures that any fumes present can be ventilated away from the rest of the items in storage. This reduces the buildup within the container and takes away the chance of a spontaneous explosion.

Help Keep Chemicals Organised And In Place

When you have segmented and organised spaces to store chemicals, you can also be sure there is no chance of improper use or contamination of spaces. In addition, everyone will know what is kept, where, and when to use it, giving you more control and understanding of what is needed for which situation.

Help Prevent Damaging Property

Chemical leaks while in storage can create big problems for everyone involved. Chemical leaks can damage facilities or cause severe accidents if they go unnoticed and unaddressed. Some safety containers like these are designed to safely collect leaks in an included sump in the bottom of the housing that gathers any leaking materials for later removal.

Tailgate Delivery Terms and Conditions

Any additional handling or manoeuvring to get the items in to position that requires specialised equipment, such as a tailgated truck or a truck mounted forklift, is not covered by any free freight offers.

For those who are new to freight, a tailgate truck (also known as a tail-lift truck or hydraulic truck) has a rear platform which can be lowered to the ground for convenience when unloading heavy goods.  This is a requirement for unloading freight over 30kg when a forklift is not available on site to unload the delivery vehicle.  Carriers class this as a specialised delivery service, and charge a premium for tailgate deliveries.

Tailgate delivery is to the front door, carport, or closest practical delivery point as deemed by the driver. There must be reasonable vehicle access with height clearance.

Tailgate shipping adds an extra $135 + gst to shipping fees during checkout to cover costs.

NOTE: Selecting the WRONG answer in regards to tailgate shipping means the carrier may be unable to unload your items and may need to re-deliver it.  The Customer will be liable for any further charges for re-delivery should this occur.  Should you have questions or if you are unsure please contact us first.
