Benefits Of Spill Kits In Australia

Spill kits are a must-have safety requirement for many industrial businesses in Australia. When you are dealing with potentially hazardous chemical liquids, you need to have the correct protective equipment in place to ensure leaks can be effectively managed. When a leak occurs, it can make its way out onto the workspace floor. But you can ensure any leaking substances are caught and contained with the right safety equipment such as dangerous goods storage cabinets, bunding and spill kits. Our spill kits are easy to use, and make it easy to dispose of hazardous elements. Read on to find out more about these professional solutions.

Dedicated Protection

With our spill kits in place, you have a dedicated protection equipment that can easily catch every drop of potentially harmful liquids. When storing dangerous chemicals and liquids, it is essential for safety and required by law to have suitable containers in place to catch any leaks. These designs incorporate trays and bunded areas that ensure any leak is contained and kept within a defined space until it can be safely cleaned. Having spill kits placed near to your dangerous goods containers makes an ideal partnership, with easy access to absorbents to clear up spills or leaks.

Reliable Disposal

With easy to use  absorbents contained within the spill kits, spills can be easily cleaned and the materials removed safely by trained professionals. With reliable and effective ways to dispose of the leaked materials, you do not have to worry about exposing workers to elements or potentially spreading the problem during cleanup. Furthermore, placing spill kits in close proximity to your dangerous goods will increase the safety around the storage units.

A Necessary Asset

Specialised products like our spill kits allow you to manage the area more effectively and without causing more harm when it comes to complicated and hazardous spillages. Our Australian made absorbent pads are made from surface-modified polypropylene which has a high absorbent capacity. They are able to absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquid. No matter the level of danger, having the right tools on hand to clean up correctly ensures that you can keep your area safe and secure.

Reach And Ability

With  the right spill kit on hand, you have all the necessary tools to correctly manage the danger and return the space to perfect working order. Whether dealing with oils or corrosives, or any other potentially harmful chemical, having the right resources can help you protect the safety of your team and business assets. An ideal way to keep your business going strong.

Having reliable spill kits for your business in Australia is paramount to maintaining your safety on a day to day basis. Managing these chemicals and hazardous goods can be tricky, but you can protect your staff and assets with  dangerous goods containers, bunds and spill kits in place. Contact us to find out more.

Tailgate Delivery Terms and Conditions

Any additional handling or manoeuvring to get the items in to position that requires specialised equipment, such as a tailgated truck or a truck mounted forklift, is not covered by any free freight offers.

For those who are new to freight, a tailgate truck (also known as a tail-lift truck or hydraulic truck) has a rear platform which can be lowered to the ground for convenience when unloading heavy goods.  This is a requirement for unloading freight over 30kg when a forklift is not available on site to unload the delivery vehicle.  Carriers class this as a specialised delivery service, and charge a premium for tailgate deliveries.

Tailgate delivery is to the front door, carport, or closest practical delivery point as deemed by the driver. There must be reasonable vehicle access with height clearance.

Tailgate shipping adds an extra $125 (inc GST) to shipping fees during checkout to cover costs.

NOTE: Selecting the WRONG answer in regards to tailgate shipping means the carrier may be unable to unload your items and may need to re-deliver it.  The Customer will be liable for any further charges for re-delivery should this occur.  Should you have questions or if you are unsure please contact us first.
